James Rae
is
a professional actor in film and television,
active
since 1981 in both French and English, appearing in more than 40
films and TV Series in the U.S. and Canada.
James has acted in feature films such as The Aviator (directed by
Martin Scorsese), The Education of Little Tree (produced by Jake
Eberts), and A Cry in the Night (produced by Robin Spry), to name
just a few.
He also appeared in a number of TV Mini-series, including
Champagne Charlie, with Meghan Gallagher and Hugh Grant, and
Revenge of the Land, directed by John Smith.
James is bilingual, with numerous credits in French film and
television, including Jamais deux sans toi, directed by Célina
Hallée of Radio-Canada, and Le neg', directed by Robert Morin.
James Rae is a member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema,
Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), of the Union des Artistes (UDA)
and of the Writer's Guild of Canada (WGC).
Fluent in both English and French, besides on-camera acting,
James is adept with accents and also lends his voice for narration,
dubbing and animation.
